Good food, good wine, good service. Nice outdoor seating, just away enough from Columbus Ave to be a bit quieter and more peaceful. Have eaten at numerous Italian places in North Beach and this one ranks well compared to them. Will definitely be back again.

I'm always nervous about trying new places when traveling. We were in SF to finally see Beach Blanket Babylon for the first time. As we walked in the restaurant, we were immediately greeted and made to feel like regulars. The service was top notch. I even noticed the bartender, help out our waitress by bringing us our drinks because she was busy. Definitely will be back. Thank you.

The Eggs Benedict was paired well with potatoes and fruit. Say hi to Jewel. Service was great with a smile. Come for the food, will come back for the service.... and the mac and cheese

Good for drinks

Great location in heart of North Beach. The owner Nils will take care of you and has an AMAZING crew of attentive staff. This restaurant/bar is chill and relaxing to enjoy drinks/food while catching up with friends. People watching on the sidewalk is great, often live music, they will play the games on the weekend so you can kick back and enjoy. Very reasonable prices and nice wine/beer selection. Cozy heaters and blankets to wrap up if you want to stay outside on the sidewalk seating on a cold SF day. This spot is quintessential San Francisco and brings to life the true character of North Beach. Truly what this neighborhood and San Francisco desperately needs!

The best parts are the wine and the outside seating. Worth it for those alone.

Nice place, friendly staff. I had the charcuterie plate with proscuitto, coppa and salami. Great selection of beer and wines.

As i was walking down the street looking for a place to get a drink, the red leather chairs got my attention right away. Barman was a real gentleman. Their mulled wine was perfect for a cold night.

Great way to spend a Saturday evening outside. Pretty good selection of beer and wine (no liquor) and their snacks were pretty good too. Gigi was a pleasure and kept our drinks full even when all of the tables were full outside.
